holidify puts the road distance at 2,205 km. Two to four days for that distance is well below what the other two movers publish, so if a quote promises it, ask how. CratoShift says its trucks run NH-44 through Agra and Nagpur to Hyderabad, with the usual overnight halts, then on through Andhra Pradesh, crossing eight states. It adds that a shared-container 1 BHK may make another stop before Chennai and sits at the longer end of the range.
How should goods be packed for Chennai?
Chennai is far more humid than Gurgaon. CratoShift lists what it does for this route:
- Wooden furniture gets a moisture-barrier wrap.
- Books and documents go in sealed cartons, and soft furnishings in stretch film.
- Electronics cartons get silica gel.
